Atlantic City, NJ - August 14, 2026 Borgata Resort Spa & Casino

The Things Can Only Get Better Tour rolled into Atlantic City for a fantastic night of '80s music at the Borgata Casino!

The evening started with another incredible meet and greet. So many people came out that we had to take two photos to get everyone in! One hour wasn't nearly enough time to say hello to everyone, take selfies, and sign books and T-shirts—but eventually it was time to head to the stage.

And what a crowd! The Borgata Casino Event Center was rocking, with Modern English kicking things off, followed by the English Beat. The capacity crowd knew all the words to every song and played along with all my games and stories on stage—exactly what makes a show like this a dream gig.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the night so special, and thank you to the Borgata Casino. Hope to see you again next year!

Washington DC - August 15, 2026

The Anthem

The Things Can Only Get Better Tour arrived in Washington, DC for a Saturday night at the incredible Anthem—and what a night it was!

From the start, the energy was off the charts. The line for the free meet and greet seemed never-ending, with fans arriving early and ready to party. By showtime, The Anthem was completely SOLD OUT, with a packed house ready for an unforgettable night.

The venue looked and sounded fantastic, with a TV crew on hand filming the show. Howard Jones sounded amazing during soundcheck and had the sold-out crowd loving every moment, singing along to every word.

And then there was that view from the stage—an absolutely incredible SOLD OUT audience filling one of Washington, DC's great venues. You made the night brilliant. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it so special!

Cleveland, OH - August 16, 2026

Jacob's Pavilion

The Things Can Only Get Better Tour rolled into Cleveland for a great night at Jacobs Pavilion. Right on the river in one of rock and roll's great cities, it was a fantastic setting for the show.

The day started with the bands getting ready, including Dave Wakeling and the English Beat during soundcheck, followed by another busy meet and greet. The crowd kept coming, and it went so long that there was barely time to get from greeting everyone to the stage!

Cleveland certainly rocked. The audience was completely into the music, and the show became another one for the record books. Howard Jones had the crowd loving every moment, and Cleveland did not disappoint.

Boston, MA - August 19, 2026

Citizens House of Blues

After Cleveland, it was time for another stop on the Things Can Only Get Better Tour—and a little game of “Where's Richard?” before arriving in Boston. The answer was revealed with a visit to the legendary Fenway Park before heading over to the Citizens House of Blues Boston.

From above, the stage was set and ready for another night on tour. Then came the meet and greet, followed by an incredible show at the House of Blues.

Boston has a reputation for being a great music city, and once again, it didn't disappoint. The audience was into everything, making the storytelling and the entire show an absolute joy. What an incredible night!

Thank you, Boston. Loved every minute, and can't wait to come back next year with a whole new presentation!
