Even the kids can get into it!

Below are some shots of a backyard 40th birthday party that we DJ'd at in August in La Jolla, California. Lots of fun!! Everybody came in costume and danced all night.

That same weekend we also played at Wilson High School's 20th reunion on board the Queen Mary in Long Beach in their largest ballroom - The Grand Salon. It was a great night.

The key is - have fun! And make sure the entertainment you book is as into it as you and your guests are!!!

When planning an 80s party (or any theme event) encourage
your guests to come in costume. Remind them that it's not just
the music of the era to consider but also movies, TV, events,
presidents, etc... I've seen everything from President Reagan
to Scarface and Isaac from the Love Boat. Teen Wolf, Top Gun
and the Karate Kid often show up as well. That way they can
keep Madonna, Robert Palmer and Pee Wee Herman company!
